Summer is the season of mangoes and this easy and tasty Mango Mithai will surely make you fall in love with it. Enriched with the goodness of mango and cow's milk, filled with essential fiber and minerals, this mithai will be perfect for desserts.

    Ingredients to make Mango Mithai:

    2 Alphanso mango, ½ cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 cup cow milk, green cardamom powder - 1 large pinch, almonds 8-10, saffron strands for garnishing

    Steps to make Mango Mithai:

    1. Wash the mangoes, peel and puree them and store it in a cup.

    2. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a non-stick pan. Add mango puree, cardamom powder, sugar to the pan and continue to cook by stirring continuously.

    3. Cook the mango puree has slightly thickened.

    4. Now add the milk an continue to cook. Stir continuously to avoid any lumps. Cook to cook until the mixture thickens.

    5. Switch off the flame and transfer the mixture to a separate plate. Leave it to cool down.

    6. Take small portion of mixture in your hand and make small balls. Flatten them to give it a desired shape.

    7. Use saffron strands and almonds for garnishing.

    Grease your hands with ghee while trying to shape the mixture. Serve it warm or you can refrigerate it too.
