Try this tangy and sweet achaar recipe for your kiddo made from the seasonal fruit ber. Ber strengthens the immune system and keeps bones and teeth healthy.

    Ingredients to make Meethe Ber ka Achaar:

    1 kg ber, salt to taste, 700 gms grated jaggery, 50 gm panch phoran, 6-7 dry red chili, 100 gm mustard oil, turmeric powder to taste

    Steps to make Meethe Ber ka Achaar:

    1. Wash ber and dry them. Deseed each ber and then rub salt and haldi.

    2. Dry in sun for 2-3 days to remove the moisture.

    3. Keep heavy vessel on fire and add oil and jaggery.

    4. Melt the jaggery on low flame and then add ber. Mix it well.

    5. Switch off the flame and mix masala powder.

    6. Put it in a jar and keep in the sun 2-3 days.

    Serve the achaar with snacks, paratha, or rice.
