Meva Moodi is a Calcutta based crispy and chewy recipe for your child, which can be savoured with his fingers. Puffed rice is packed with energising carbs, fibre, protein, and jaggery with iron.

    Ingredients to make Meva Moodi:

    1cup puffed rice (kurmura), ¼ cup roasted Salted almonds (badam), ¼ cup roasted salted pistachios, ¼ cup roasted salted cashewnuts (kaju), ¼ cup salted peanuts, ¼ cup jaggery (gur), 2 tsp. honey, 1 tsp ghee

    Steps to make Meva Moodi:

    1. Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan, add the jaggery (ensure that the jaggery is not overheated), and honey, and cook on a very low flame till the jaggery has just melted.

    2. Add all the remaining ingredients and toss lightly.

    Serve them warm to your child to relish every bite.
