Assorted dry fruits like cashews, almonds, dates, raisins and dry figs are rich in proteins, minerals, dietary fibre and when flavoured with coconut, tastes simply superb. You can prepare a delicious sweet, called Mewa Laddo, which has all the natural sweetness of dry fruits and is highly nutritious.

5-10 cashews, 5-10 raisins, 5-10 dates, 5-10 dry figs, 5-10 almonds, ¼ cup grated coconut, 4-5 cardamoms
1. Take the dates and deseed them. Roughly chop them.
2. Roughly chop the other dry fruits too.
3. In a blender, add the cut dry fruits and cardamoms without the peel. Blend them into a coarse mixture.
4. Remove the mixture in a plate and add the grated coconut too.
5. Mix well. Take some mixture in the palm of your hand and start rolling and give it a shape of a ball.
Highly nutritious and tasty Mewa Laddo is ready to sweeten your taste buds. You can also store these laddos at room temperature in an air tight container for about 2 weeks.
