Mini Sprouts Uttapa

Sprouts Uttapa is a very healthy breakfast option loaded with proteins and vitamins. The very low calorie breakfast, snack or lunch box item is very easy to prepare as well.

    Ingredients to make Mini Sprouts Uttapa:

    ½ cup rice flour, 1/4 cup grated potatoes, 1 tbsp roasted peanuts(crushed), water as required, salt to taste, 1 cup boiled mixed sprouts, handful of chopped coriander, 1-2 chopped green chiles, oil for cooking

    Steps to make Mini Sprouts Uttapa:

    1. Prepare a batter by mixing rice flour, grated potatoes, peanuts, salt and water as required. Mix well to make it lump free. Keep aside.

    2. Mix salt in boiled sprouts; slightly crush them with your fingers.

    3. Add coriander leaves and green chiles and mix again.

    4. Heat a dosa tawa; pour a ladle full of batter and spread it in required size(keep it small to make mini uttapa)

    5. Spread a portion of sprouts toppings evenly over it.

    6. Sprinkle little oil over it and cook till both sides are turned golden brown.

    Serve hot with coconut chutney.
