Mizo dal would be a perfect nutritious recipe for your child. This is simple and easy but highly protein rich dish.

Ingredients to make Mizo Dal:
¼ cup moong dal, ¼ cup toor dal, ¼ cup masoor dal, ¼ tsp. turmeric powder, ¼ cup chopped onion, 1 tomato chopped, 2 garlic crushed, 2 green chiles, 1 tbsp.mustard oil, salt to taste
Steps to make Mizo Dal:
1. Pressure cook the three dals with turmeric for 3 whistles.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add the onions and slit green chillies and sauté them till they are translucent.
3. Add tomatoes and salt and simmer till they are mushy.
4. Add the pressure cooked dal and required water.
Serve it with hot rice to your child to enjoy every mouth of it.
