2 cups rice soaked for 2 hrs, 2 cups grated coconut, salt to taste, oil for greasing
1. Grind soaked rice with coconut to a fine batter. Allow to rest for 30 minutes. Add salt and mix.
2. Heat a tawa and grease with oil. Spread a spoonful of batter into a flat pancake shape.
3. Cook on medium heat till pitha is done. Serve with tomato chutney.
