Nutty Laddoo

This is an excellent way to include ragi in your kid's diet. These Nutty Laddoos are loaded with calcium, folate, copper, and dietary fiber.

    Ingredients to make Nutty Laddoo:

    ½ cup besan flour, ½ cup ragi flour, 1 ½ cup grated jaggery, ½ cup milk, 1 cup chopped almonds, pista, cashews and walnuts, ½ tsp. cardamom powder.

    Steps to make Nutty Laddoo:

    1. In a heavy bottomed pan, dry roast both the ragi flour and besan flour separately on a medium flame until the raw smell goes off. And transfer to a wide bowl.

    2. In the same pan dry roast the chopped nuts till they become golden and crispy. Then transfer them to the flour.

    3. In a blender add roasted flours, nuts and grated jaggery, cardamom powder and blend all together.

    4. Transfer to the bowl and add warm milk and shape into small balls and serve.

    Serve to your child this healthy Nutty Laddoo during snack time.
