Paneer Shahi

Paneer Shahi is a royal dish, appropriate for occasions when you want to serve something special to your kiddo. Paneer is a good source of protein, and it helps in growth and regeneration.

    Ingredients to make Paneer Shahi:

    1 cup cubed paneer, 4-5 blanched almonds, 1 cup curd, 1/2 tsp shahi jeera, pinch of black pepper, 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder, 1-2 green cardoms, 1-2 cloves, 1 tsp rose water and few saffron strands

    Steps to make Paneer Shahi:

    1. Firstly, chop the onion, tomatoes.

    2. Next, put a pan on medium flame and heat it. Add 3 tablespoons of ghee in it.

    3. Add nuts, green cardomoms, and chopped onions, and fry for 4 to 5 minutes.

    4. Then add the beaten curd and cook for another 5 minutes, and pour a cup of water in the pan and cook for a minute.

    5. When the gravy is cooked, let it cool at room temperature. When it's cool enough, add it to a mixer jar and blend till smooth and keep aside

    6. Now, heat some butter, add the ground gravy in it.

    7. Add all the spices mentioned in ingredients. Bring it to boil or till the gravy turns thickens and add the paneer cubes and cream in it.

    Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes. Serve hot!
