Children love pasta. Twist the regular pasta by adding parwal to it. The fantabulous flavour of this chunky Parwal Pasta is sure to sweep your child off his feet. This dish is also rich in iron.

5 parwal, 1 large onion, 2 tsp garlic, 1 tsp ginger, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 cup pasta, 1 cup coconut paste, 1 cup oil, 3 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp garam masala, salt and sugar to taste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder
1. Boil pasta with salt and oil. Drain off and keep aside. Add ghee on top.
2. Wash, peel, deseed and slice parwals.
3. Heat oil in a pan and fry parwals.
4. In the same pan, add oil if needed, add garlic, ginger, turmeric, red chilli and saute till the raw aroma goes away.
5. Add onion and coconut paste and stir well.
6. Now add tomato ketchup; coconut paste amd stir well. Add parwals, garam masala and mix well.
7. Add 2-3 tbsp water, cover and cook it for 3-4 minutes on low medium heat.
Add boiled pasta, mix well and serve.
