    Ingredients to make Pineapple Basundi:

    3/4 cup freshly grated pineapple, 2-3 saffron strands, 2 tbsp milk, 1 liter full cream milk, 5 tbsp sugar, ½ tsp cardamom powder

    Steps to make Pineapple Basundi:

    1. Heat a pan; add 1 tbsp sugar and grated pineapple and cook on medium flame while stirring continuously. Once done, cool it completely.

    2. In a deep pan; combine milk and sugar and cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes while stirring in between.

    3. meanwhile, soak saffron strands in 2 tbsp warm milk. Add this saffron milk in pan and stir continuously.

    4. Add cardamom powder in a pan. Cook for another 5 minutes and switch off the flame. Let it cool completely.

    5. Once cooled, add the pineapple mixture and mix well. Refrigerate it for one hour.

    Serve chilled.
