Pineapple Pulissery is a popular sweet and sour yogurt based dish. It is rich in minerals like copper, manganese and potassium which are very healthy for your kid.

    Ingredients to make Pineapple Pullisery:

    1 cup chopped pineapple, 1/4 tsp turmeric, salt as needed, 1¼ cups curd, 1/3 cup grated coconut, 3/4 tsp jeera, ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds for seasoning and a few curry leaves

    Steps to make Pineapple Pullisery:

    1. Peel pineapple and cut it into small pieces. Discard the core.

    2. Grind coconut and jeera with a little curd to a smooth paste.

    3. Whisk curd without adding water.

    4. Cook pineapple with very less water adding turmeric powder, salt needed until soft.

    5. Once cooked, add the coconut paste and cook for another 2-3 minutes on low flame.

    6. Add curd and heat it slightly on very low flame. Switch it off.

    7. Heat coconut oil, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add fenugreek seeds and curry leaves. Saute for a second and add the seasoning to the pineapple pulissery.

    Serve with hot rice to your little one who is going to enjoy this dish!
