You can prepare a tasty and highly nutritious laddoo for your child, and it is Pista Laddoo, using pista and whole flaxseeds. Pista is rich in protein, fats, fibre, vitamin B6, and potassium while flaxseeds have the essential omega-3 essential fatty acids.This sweet can be stored in an air tight container for about 2 weeks at room temperature.

    Ingredients to make Pista Laddoo:

    2 cups pista, ½ cup whole flax seeds, 2 tsp oil, 2 cups jaggery

    Steps to make Pista Laddoo:

    1. In a pan, dry roast the pista and flax seeds for about 5 minutes separately. Grind both of them to a fine powder.

    2. In another pan, prepare the jaggery syrup by melting jaggery in little water on medium flame. Once the jaggery is little thick, filter the mixture and you get the syrup.

    3. Put the pista flaxseeds powder to the jaggery syrup and give a good mix.

    4. Now grease your palms and take a small portion from the mixture prepared and roll into small balls. The mixture should not be too hot, but warm enough to make the balls.

    Healthy and tasty Pista Laddoo is ready for your child to sweeten his taste buds and enjoy!
