Pumpkin Pachdi

Pumpkin is a colourful and tasty superfood, which has vital vitamin like A, C and E, minerals like iron and potassium and also dietary fiber. Using pumpkin, you can prepare delicious pumpkin pachdi, which has been flavoured with cumin powder, little sugar, and tempered with jeera in coconut oil.

    Ingredients to make Pumpkin Pachdi:

    8 to 10 diced pumpkin cubes, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp cumin powder, salt as per taste, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp coconut oil, 2 tsp water

    Steps to make Pumpkin Pachdi:

    1. In a pan, add coconut oil. Once warm, add jeera. As it changes colour, add the pumpkin cubes.

    2. Saute for 2- 3 minutes on medium flame.

    3. Add 2 tsp water and cook till tender.

    4. Add salt, sugar and cumin powder. Give a good mix.

    Delicious and nutritious Pumpkin Pachdi is ready to relish.
