Rajasthani Hare Chane Ka Halwa

Rajasthani Hare Chane are popularly known as ‘Choliya’ in Hindi and is very popular in Rajasthan. It has vitamin A and C and is good for increasing healthy weight of your kids. It is a good option for dessert if your kids crave for something sweet.

    Ingredients to make Rajasthani Hare Chane Ka Halwa:

    1 cup pureed green chickpeas, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup ghee, 2 cardamoms powdered

    For the Garnishing:

    1 tsp ghee, 6 chopped pistachios or cashew, 10 raisins

    Steps to make Rajasthani Hare Chane Ka Halwa:

    1.Take a heavy bottom kadai and heat ghee in it.

    2. Now to this hot ghee add grounded hare chana paste. Stir it for 7-8 minutes till they are cooked properly.

    3. Add sugar and cardamom powder to the cooked hare chane.

    4. Keep stirring till all the moisture dries up and it becomes a single lump.

    5. Now take 1 tsp ghee in a pan and roast dry fruits in it.

    6. Add these dry fruits to the halwa and mix well.

    Serve it hot after the meal time.
