Rajigira Paratha is a sumptuous dish, which is sure to linger in the taste buds of your little one for quite some time after tasting it. It’s a healthy dish, which can keep him full for the whole day. Packed with proteins present in the stuffing, it will be immediately gobbled up by your little one. So, what are you waiting for ? Try this dish and see the happy face of your little one after eating the paratha.

Ingredients to make Rajgira Paratha:

1 cup rajgira flour, 1/4 cup boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes, ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch), rock salt to taste, rajgira flour for rolling, oil for cooking

For Stuffing:

1 cup fresh thickly grated paneer (cottage cheese), 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies, ½ tsp lemon juice, ½ tsp powdered sugar, 2 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania), rock salt to taste.

Steps to make Rajgira Paratha:

1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned under stuffing in a bowl.

2. Make 8 portions of the stuffing.

3. Combine the rajgira flour, potatoes, pepper powder and rock salt in a bowl and knead into a semi-soft dough using enough water.

4. Make 8 portions of the dough.

5. Take one portion ,roll into a circle.

6. Place the stuffing in the centre and bring the edges to centre and fold.

7. Roll this again . Use flour for rolling.

8. Heat a pan. Add a tablespoon of oil and place the paratha in the pan . Cook both sides till golden brown.

9. Repeat the same with rest of the portions.

Serve the paratha hot with curd.
