This crispy namkeen Rice Chakli makes a perfect snack item to be served along with thandai, or other cool drink to your cutie pie. These light, flavourful, crunchy and delicious chaklis are good to serve and make a plate full of dietary fibre and protein.

1 cup rice flour, 1/4th cup besan, 1/4th cup fried gram, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tbsp carom seeds, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, a pinch of hing, 1 tbsp oil, salt, water, oil for frying
1. Powder the fried grams in a mixer. Take out the powder in a deep bowl.
2. Add rice flour, besan, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, ajwain, hing and mix well.
3. Add 1 tbsp oil, mix up very well. Add water as needed to make a tight dough. The dough should be non-sticky and not dry too.
4. Grease the chakli maker. Fill the chakli maker with some dough and press the chakli maker to make spiral chaklis.
5. Heat oil in a skillet and drop chakli in it. Fry them until golden and crisp.
6. Remove them on a paper towel.
Cool the chaklis and serve it to your child.
