This mouthwatering side-dish is very famous in Uttarakhand and has a refreshing and tempting taste. It is eaten during the winter season and is a rich source of iron and calcium.

400 gm radish, 5 garlic pods, 10 green chillies, 1 lemon, salt to taste, 250 gm curd, 60 gms sugar
1. You need to cut the radish in long batons of 2 inches in length after washing and peeling it properly.
2. Now, in a kharal grind green chillies and garlic pods together till you get a coarse paste.
3. Take a bowl and add radish to it along with garlic and green chilli mixture.
4. Then squeeze lemon juice into this and add curd along with salt and sugar.
5. Mix all the ingredients well till the radish is properly marinated in the curd.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and this tangy mixture is all yours!
