It is a popular delicacy of Uttarakhand that is soft, spongy, and sweet. It is rich in iron and calcium. It can be stored for a week and is great in taste. It is healthy and liked by kids a lot as it is soft in texture and sweet in taste.

1 cup sooji, ½ cup thick curd, ½ cup sugar, ½ ripe banana, ½ tsp cardamom powder, milk as required, cooking oil for frying
1. Take a large bowl and add sooji, yogurt, banana, sugar, and green cardamom.
2. Mix them well and add milk to form a smooth batter out of it.
3. Cover and keep it aside for 3-4 hours.
4. Now heat oil in a kadai for frying purpose.
5. Take a clean plastic bag and make a small cut at the end.
6. Fill the bag with semolina batter and then press it gently from behind so that batter can flow out from the hole into the pan.
7. Drop the batter into hot oil just like jalebi shape and fry it until it turns golden brown.
8. Drain it on an absorbent paper and then fry rest of them with the remaining batter.
Serve it along with rabdi as a dessert in lunch.
