Are you craving for a new and different kind of dish when it comes to eating veggies? Make this tasty and super-healthy Sojne Datar Chorchori dish. Drumsticks are full of vitamins A and C, calcium, and iron.

Sojne data/ drumsticks lightly scraped and cut into 3” long pieces – 6, potatoes peeled and cut into thick wedges– 2, mustard seed paste- 2 tbsp, white poppy seed paste- 3 tbsp, kalonji/nigella seeds- ¼ tsp, turmeric powder- ½ tsp, salt to taste, mustard oil- 2 tbsp
1. Heat oil. Add the drumstick pieces and lightly fry for a couple of minutes. Remove and keep aside.
2. Now add in the potato wedges in the same kadhai and fry till they change colour. Remove and keep aside.
3. Add in nigella seeds. Sauté for 10-15 seconds and add in the fried vegetables, mustard paste, poppy seed paste, turmeric and salt.
4. Mix well and let it cook uncovered for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add in half to one cup water, cover and cook on medium low heat till the vegetables are done. Serve hot with rice.
