Stir Fried Water Chestnuts is a quick and simple fried recipe to delight your child. Water chestnuts are a good source of dietary fiber, riboflavin, copper, and potassium.

12 peeled water chestnuts, 1 tbsp. olive oil, ½ tsp. dry red chilli flakes, 5 minced garlic pods, 1 tsp. ground black pepper powder, salt to taste, 1 tbsp. fresh coriander leaves
1. Heat oil in a pan and add the water chestnuts, stir and add minced garlic and sauté and cook for 4 minutes.
2. Add black pepper powder, salt and red chili flakes and mix well, sauté and cook for 7 minutes. Simmer for 2 minutes and remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve to your child as tea time snack or for dinner.
