You can make a crisp delicious snack, Suhaali using plain flour flavoured with carom and cumin seeds. Carom seeds are very good for digestion. This quick deep-fried snack tastes awesome with mango pickle.

    Ingredients to make Suhaali:

    ½ cup plain flour, 1 tsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp carom seeds, 1 tbsp ghee, oil for deep frying

    Steps to make Suhaali:

    1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients. Give a good mix and add little water to knead the mixture into a soft dough.

    2. Use plain flour for dusting and make small puri size circles using the entire dough.

    3. With a fork, prick the circles and deep fry them in hot oil.

    4. Once they turn crisp and golden brown, remove on a plate.

    Yummy crunchy Suhaalis are ready. Enjoy!
