These crunchy fritters are easy to make and can be served as a evening snack to your kiddo. Jowar flour is packed with essential minerals and vitamins including iron, high fibre and protein too.

1 cup jowar flour, salt,1/4 tsp soda bicarbonate,1 tbsp sesame seeds, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 2 tsp ginger paste, 1 teaspoon paste, 2 tbsp dahi, ½ cup wheat flour, and 3 cups oil for frying
1. Mix both the flours in a bowl.
2. Add yogurt and water and mix the batter well to avoid any lumps. Allow the mixture to ferment for 5-6 hours.
3. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
4. Before frying the vadas, add soda in the batter.
5. Heat oil and take small size dough and make it into round or oval shape.
6. Deep fry them till it turns golden color.
Serve with tomato ketchup or mint chutney
