You can make delicious Sweet Khajurs, a sweet cookie made using maida, sooji, and milk. Flavouring this carbohydrate-rich snack with ghee, sugar and a healthy mix of nuts, these khajurs taste awesome.This filling snack is perfect to carry while travelling or whenever you have a sweet craving. Make and store them in an air tight container.

1 cup maida, ¼ cup sooji, ¼ cup khoya, 1 cup sugar, 3-5 almonds, 3-5 raisins, 3-5 pistachios, 1 tbsp ghee, milk as needed (to make a dough), oil for deep frying
1. In a pan, add 1 tsp ghee and saute the finely chopped almonds, raisins and pistachios.
2. Blend the sugar to a fine powder and keep aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, add the maida, sooji, sugar and khoya. Mix well. Add the sauted dry fruits too. Add ghee and rub the mixture for about 5-10 minutes.
4. Using milk, knead the mixture into a dough.
5. Take small portions of the dough and roll into a chapatti. Using a cookie cutter or a bowl, you can cut the rolled dough into small roundels.
6. In a kadai, pour oil for frying. Once the oil is medium hot, fry the cut roundels till they turn crisp and golden brown on both sides. Repeat the process for all khajur balls.
