Rava sweet roti is very commonly made in Karnataka and is a very popular breakfast dish. Soft yet crisp, rava roti is quite filling. Simple, humble yet very very tasty. Rava roti is also quick to make. It comes with the goodness of rava which has good amount of fiber in it.

    Ingredients to make Sweet Rava Roti:

    Rava-½ cup, powdered jaggery-3 tsb, green cardamoms-1/4 tsp(powdered), grated coconuts-1/4 cup, cashews-few, coconut oil-1/4 cup, and all purpose flour-1 cup

    Steps to make Sweet Rava Roti:

    1. In a blender, add rava and make it into a powder.

    2. Heat water in a pan. Once it comes to boil, add jaggery powder, grated coconut, cardamom powder, powdered cashew, and sooji powder. Mix it well and cook it with closed lid on slow flame.

    3. Transfer this into a bowl and add all purpose flour, mix it well.

    4. Divide the dough into small roundels and dust it in flour and roll into small roti.

    5. Heat tava and cook the small rotis using coconut oil on both sides.

    Serve this with any chutney.
