This recipe is prepared using sap of date palm tree. Neera is known for its nutritional value and amazingly rich in vitamins and minerals. It contains a good amount of minerals like potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc and phosphorus, in addition to vitamins like vitamin C and 12 of the essential B complex vitamins.

3/4 litre fresh neera, 1 one-inch piece of ginger (chopped), 1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped), 3 green chilies (chopped), 2 onions, (chopped), 1 tbsp pure ghee, salt to taste, 1 tbsp. gram flour, 1 tsp dhansak masala powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 8 cloves garlic (chopped)
1. Heat ghee and fry the chopped onions till it turns light brown.
2. Add the remaining ingredients except neera. Saute for a few minutes.
3. Add neera and simmer for a few minutes and switch off the flame.
Serve Tari ni Kudhi as a side dish with khichdi to your kiddo.
