This is a wonderful recipe during winters. Your kiddo will love the aroma and taste. Adding milk is a good source of of calcium, vitamin D, and protein. Nuts are natural power-packs of nutrients like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats, protein and fibre, which help children grow, develop, and learn. Cardamom also has unique antioxidant properties that play a role in preventing diseases.

2 tsp Kashmiri tea leaves, ¼–½ tsp bicarbonate of soda, 2-3crushed cardamom, approx.2 cups of water,2 cups of whole milk, ½ tsp sea salt,2-3 tsp of ground pistachios and almonds
1. Take a saucepan and add 2 tsp of tea with about ½ of water on medium flame. Boil till frothy then add the bicarbonate of soda and whisk vigorously for about 10 seconds and then add 1 cup of water and crushed cardamom.
2. Boil until the tea broth becomes a bright red.
3. Now bring the heat down to medium low and add the milk and whisk it very vigorously to achieve a slight froth.
4. The colour of the tea should turn to pink. Add more milk if you want to lighten the colour.
5. Finally, add the salt and stir.
Pour into a cup and sprinkle with crushed pistachios and almonds.
