Thick & Spongy Poha Dosa is a delightful dish that you can try making for your little one. You can make it for breakfast if you have the batter ready. Kids love dosa and with the stuffing, they will find it even more tasty. This dosa is good for health too as it has fenugreek seeds and Urad dal, boosting proteins.

1½ cups parboiled rice/ Idly rice, ¼ cup raw rice, ¼ cup + 1½ tablespoon Whole urad dal (without skin), Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp, salt as needed, oil for making dosa
Ingredients for the stuffing:
Onion, tomato, green capsicum, oil, red chilli powder -½ tsp, garam masala powder -½ tsp, salt as required
For the batter:
1. Soak both rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds together for 5-6 hours and grind it to a smooth paste.
2. Add required salt and mix well with your hands. Let it ferment for another 7-8 hours or overnight.
For the stuffing:
1. In a pan, add mustard seeds, once they crackle, add the onions.
2. Once the onions turn translucent, add the tomatoes.
3. Once the tomatoes turn mushy, add capsicum.
4. Cook for sometime.
5. Add red chili powder and garam masala powder.
6. In a tawa, pour a ladle of batter and spread a little.
7. Once it’s cooked, add 2 tablespoons of the stuffing.
8. Cook for some more time.
Serve the dosas hot.
