Thud is a common food in Ladakh region in the Zangthang and Zanskar valley. It is easy to make with very few ingredients and can be stored for sometime and be used as small time crumbles. Due to the presence of cheese and butter, this dish is rich in protein and fat. It's super easy to make and a good option as dry snacks.

Local butter, local dried cheese, sugar
1. Mix local butter, ground dried cheese and sugar together
2. Now shape the mixture into bricks.
Store it for the winters.
