Flax seeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acid and fibre. Using this ingredient, you can prepare Tisi ki Roti, which is a healthy variation to our regular rotis. You can make it more nutritious and tasty by adding jaggery, which is a good source of carbohydrates.

    Ingredients to make Tisi Ki Roti:

    1 cup wheat flour, 2 tbsp flaxseeds, 1 tbsp jaggery, 2 tsp oil, water to knead the dough

    Steps to make Tisi ki Roti:

    1. Clean the flax seeds and grind to a fine powder.

    2. Crush the jaggery to get a powder texture.

    3. In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, 1 tsp oil, flax seeds powder and jaggery.

    4. Stir well and add water little by little and knead to get a soft dough.

    5. Take a small portion of the dough and roll it just like we make rotis.

    6. On a hot tawa, place the rolled roti. Cook on both sides and spread the oil.

    Hot, healthy and yummy Tisi ki Rotis are ready to relish. Serve with raita or sabzi.
