Tomato Khajuri Chutney

As the name suggests, this chutney is fine combination of tomato and dates, making it a super yummy thing to have. It is also rich in proteins and carbohydrates among other nutrients.

    Ingredients to make Tomato Khajuri Chutney:

    200 gm tomato, 7 dates, 2 garlic flakes, 2 red chillis, 1/5 tsp mustard seeds, 1/5 tsp cilantro chopped, 1/5 tsp fennel seeds, 4 curry leaves, 1/4 tsp cumin chili powder, 3 tsp sugar, 2 tsp oil, salt to taste

    Steps to make Tomato Khajuri Chutney:

    1. Heat oil. Add fennel and mustard seeds. Add garlic, chili, and curry leaves.

    2. Add tomatoes. Cook and add salt.

    3. Pour water and salt. Boil it. Simmer for 15mins. Add sugar and cook for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and sprinkle cumin powder roasted. Garnish with cilantro before serving it to your little one.
