    Ingredients to make Ulli Theeyal:

    4 tbsp oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp jeera, 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds, 200 gm pearl onions, 1 tsp garlic paste, 4 to 6 tbsp tamarind paste, a few curry leaves

    Steps to make Ulli Theeyal:

    1. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the fenugreek and cumin seeds and roast them till brown.

    2. Mix it well, then grind it to a paste.

    3. Heat oil in a pan. Break the red chilli in half and add it followed by the mustard, wait till they splutter.

    4. Add the fenugreek seeds and curry leaves. Stir.

    5. Now add the tamarind extract and mix well again. Put in the garlic and salt.

    Stir it all together for a couple of minutes and serve. This is a very healthy dish for your kid.
