Urad Dal Laddoo is a healthy dish as it is rich in iron content. This helps boost the energy levels in your kid's body and keeps him active. It benefits your kid's health as it has both soluble and insoluble fibre which is good for digestion and also prevents constipation.

1 cup urad dal, 2 tbsp sesame seeds, 2 tbsp walnuts/almonds, 3/4 to 1 cup brown sugar, cup melted ghee
1. Wash the urad dal thoroughly.
2. Dry roast lightly sesame seeds and the almonds or walnuts.
3. Powder the dal and the sugar finely. Powder sesame seeds and the nuts and add them to the powdered dal and sugar.
4. Heat the ghee slightly.
5. Mix all the three ingredients along with sugar. Run the blender once till slightly warm.
6. Transfer the mix to a plate and pour slightly hot ghee little by little.
7. Mix and make the balls. Add ghee when needed. Store the laddoos in airtight jars.
