Green leafy vegetables are the must-haves in your daily diet. Carrot, capsicum, peas, and beans are such vegetables, which have a number of health benefits. This Veggie Upma recipe is one of the most famous Indian breakfast dish.

    Ingredients to make Veggie Upma:

    Rava, carrots, capsicum, beans, peas, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, water, cashews

    Steps to make Veggie Upma:

    1. Dry roast the rava on a tawa on low flame till it changes color slightly.

    2. Dice all the vegetables in small pieces.

    3. In a pan, add oil and mustard seeds, urad and chana dal, curry leaves and saute. Then add all vegetables and saute for 5 minutes.

    4. Add the rava now to the vegetables. Cover and cook with 1 cup of water, stir occasionally.

    Use cashews to garnish and serve hot!
