Walnuts improve blood lipids and other cardiovascular disease risk factors. It is beneficial for your bone health. They are a rich source of minerals, such as, manganese, copper, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium. They are also rich in vitamin E. Calcium is essential as it helps your body to function and improves ability to think. Magnesium helps to prevent and fight migraine and headaches in your kid and also helps in improving his heart health. Copper is found in all body tissues and plays a role in making red blood cells and maintaining nerve cells and the immune system.

    Ingredients to make Walnut Laddoo:

    1 cup walnut, 1 cup poha, 3/4 cup jaggery

    Steps to make Walnut Laddoo:

    1. Dry roast poha on medium flame till they turn crispy.

    2. Dry roast walnuts. Set aside to cool. Grate the jaggery.

    3. Once the poha is cooled, just crush them with your palms to get tiny crisps.

    4. Powder the walnuts in a mixer. Add jaggery and blend.

    5. Add the mixture with the crispy poha and knead well and make small balls of walnut laddoo.

    The dish is quite healthy and you will certainly like it!
