Freshly-baked Wheat Loaf is a delight to bite into, for babies, toddlers, and adults too. Healthier than its refined flour counterpart, it has curd to develop the gluten part in the bread, comes loaded with healthy carbs.

3 cups whole wheat flour, 1 cup water, 1 tsp instant yeast, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp ghee, 2 tbsp curd, some breastmilk or formula milk for brushing
1. Mix flour with salt in a bowl. Add 1 tsp instant yeast and just slightly mix.
2. Then add sugar, ghee and curd.
3. First just mix everything lightly and then slowly adding water in intervals to knead a smooth dough.
4. Add more water if required. The dough should be slightly sticky.
5. Brush some milk over the dough. Cover the dough with kitchen towel and leave it for 30-35 minutes. Remove and then lightly punch and knead the dough again.
6. Make a log of the dough and seam the edges. Place it in a greased bread loaf tim. Cover it with uslin cloth and again keep it aside for 30 minutes. Let it rise.
7. Preheat the oven at 220 degrees.
8. Bake the dough in oven for 20-25 minutes. When done, demould the bread loaf, brush it some breastmilk and ghee and keep aside to cool completely.
Cut down the slices and serve the way your child likes - a sandwhich , bread jam, bread butter etc.
