White gourd is a vegetable high on water and is a rich source of vitamin C, K, and calcium. It helps in maintaining a healthy heart and brings down bad cholesterol levels. The juice is also beneficial for diabetic patients as it stabilizes the blood sugar level and maintains blood pressure. White Gourd Kshreera is a healthy blend of white gourd and cerelac powder, which makes it a better food for babies older than 6 months. It is easy to prepare and loved by kids.

    Ingredients to make White Gourd Ksheera:

    Ghee-1 tsb, white gourd-1 medium, cerelac powder milk-2 cup, safforn strands-few, cardamom powder-½ tsp and sugar-2 cup

    Steps to make White Gourd Ksheera:

    1. Wash and grate white gourd.

    2. Heat ghee in a pan and fry grated white gourd for 10 minutes on medium flame.

    3. Add cerelac powder and sugar. Stir well.

    4. Add water and let it boil for another 10 minutes. Add cardamom powder and stir.

    5. Turn off the flame and garnish it with saffron strands.

    White Gourd Ksheera is ready to be served.
