Yam slices, coated with the perfect blend of spices and lemon juice and shallow fried with little oil are just a perfect snack. The tangy and spicy flavour of this Yam Fry makes it kind of addictive, and you cannot stop with one serving!

    Ingredients to make Yam Fry:

    8-10 slices of Yam, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp lemon juice, salt to taste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp garam masala, oil for shallow frying

    Steps to make Yam Fry:

    1. Boil the yam slices in enough water. Drain and keep aside.

    2. Combine red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala in a bow and mix well.

    3. Coat each yam slice with this prepared masala.

    4. Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in pan and cook the coated yam sliceson a medium flame till they turn golden brown from both sides.

    Serve this yummy snack with the dip of your choice.
