Yummy Mushroom Rice

Mushrooms are an excellent source of vitamin and minerals along with dietary fibre. With rice, which has carbohydrates, you can prepare delicious yummy mushroom rice. Flavoured with garlic and spring onion, this rice is a perfect lunch/dinner food.

    Ingredients to make Yummy Mushroom Rice:

    1 cup rice, ½ cup mushroom, ¼ bell pepper, ¼ spring onion, 1-2 garlic cloves, 1 tsp olive oil, salt as per taste, 2 cups water

    Steps to make Yummy Mushroom Rice:

    1. Wash, drain and keep the rice aside.

    2. In a pressure pan, add oil. Add garlic and spring onion. Saute for 2 minutes.

    3. Add the finely chopped bell pepper and diced mushroom. Saute for 2-3 minutes.

    4. Add rice and salt. Give a good mix.

    5. Add 2 cups water and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.

    6. Once the steam cools down, yummy mushroom rice is ready to serve.
