Aloo Poha is a yummy filling dish, which you can make for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It’s easy to digest. Poha is a good source of iron and potatoes are a good source of fiber and potassium.

    Ingredients to make Aloo Poha:

    1 cup Poha/Aval, 1 cup chopped onions, a small piece ginger, 1 green chili, 2 potatoes, boiled and cubed, turmeric powder - a pinch, salt to taste, lemon juice to taste, 1 teaspoon mustard, ½ teaspoon urad dal, curry leaves – little

    Steps to make Aloo Poha:

    1. Soak one cup of poha in hot water.

    2. In a pan, add a teaspoon of oil.

    3. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add urad dal.

    4. Add ginger and green chili.

    5. Add the cubed potatoes.

    6. Add turmeric powder and mix well.

    7. Add salt and cook well.

    8. Now add the soaked poha and mix well till combined.

    9. Allow to cool and add lemon juice.

    Yummy Aloo Poha ready to be served. Serve it with curd. Your little champ will definitely relish this dish.
