    Ingredients to make Boiled Dal Chaat/Lentil Soup:

    ½ cup channa dal or moong dal, 1 ½ cup water, a pinch of turmeric and salt (absolutely optional)

    Steps to make Boiled Dal Chaat/Lentil Soup:

    1. Wash the dal 3- 4 times and soak for 30 minutes.

    2. In a pressure cooker, add soaked dal, turmeric and water and cook for 4-5 whistles.

    3. When all the pressure is released on its own, open the cooker.

    4. Mash the dal using a heavy ladle.

    5. Drain in it in a sieve. Use more boiled water if required for pouring consistency.

    6. Add a pinch of salt (optional).

    Prepare today and feed your baby with a baby-friendly spoon. You will see her lip-smacking for the first time.
