Prepare this easy bread vegetable upma to delight your child's palate. This is one of the peppiest way to eat bread with veggies. This is rich in vitamin A. You can add as many nutrients as you want by simply adding related vegetables.

4-5 roughly torned wheat bread slices, 1 chopped onion, 1 grated carrot, 8-10 beans finely chopped, curry leaves, 1 tsp mustard seeds, coriander leaves, 1 tsp urad dal, 1 tsp chana dal, salt as needed.
1. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds.
2. When the seeds crackle add the curry leaves, urad dal and chana dal and fry for a minute. Add onion and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
3. Add the carrots, beans, turmeric powder, 2 tbsp of water, salt; mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Add the bread, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously.
5. Switch off the flame, add the coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve hot with home made tomato ketchup.
