Using Avocado, which is known as Butter fruit across Asia and is abundantly rich in vital vitamin and minerals, you can prepare a delicious and nutritious dessert called Butter Fruit Halwa. Adding wheat flour and jaggery syrup gives the required carbohydrates too.

    Ingredients to make Butter Fruit Halwa:

    1 avocado, ½ cup wheat flour, 1/4 cup jaggery, 1 tsp ghee, 1 cup water

    Steps to make Butter Fruit Halwa:

    1. Peel and cut the avocado. Remove the flesh of the avocado and puree it.

    2. In a pan, add little water and jaggery. Switch on the flame and let the jaggery melt. Filter the jaggery syrup.

    3. In another pan, add ghee. Add the wheat flour and saute for 3-4 minutes till the raw smell of the flour goes off.

    4. Meanwhile, boil water in a vessel.

    5. Add boiling water carefully to the wheat flour and keep stirring till it gets blended well. Add the jaggery syrup and avocado puree. Give a thorough mix.

    Butter Fruit Halwa is ready to sweeten the taste buds. Enjoy!
