Carrot Dhokla

A healthy, quick and easy steam cooked snack is Carrot Dhokla. Vitamin-rich carrots, onion, and gram flour, which is a good source of protein, will make this snack wholesome. Beaten curd when added, helps in digestion.

    Ingredients to make Carrot Dhokla:

    1/2 cup gram flour, ¼ cup grated carrot, ¼ cup onion, 1 tbsp curd, 2 tsp oil, 3-4 sprigs of finely chopped coriander and mint leaves, a pinch of turmeric, salt as per taste.

    Steps to make Carrot Dhokla:

    1. In a bowl, add the gram flour. Add salt, turmeric, grated carrot, chopped onion, coriander, and mint leaves. Mix well.

    2. Now, add curd and oil. Mix into a lump free batter. Add water as required to get a pouring consistency batter.

    3. To a greased plate, pour the mixture and steam cook for 10 mins. Allow cooling for 2 mins. Cut into small squares.

    Steamed, nutritious carrot dhokla is ready!
