Cauliflower Broccoli Rice comes with the goodness of cauliflower and broccoli, which are an excellent source of natural antioxidants due to their high levels of various phytochemicals as well as good suppliers of essential vitamins, caroteniods, fiber, soluble sugars, minerals and phenolic compounds. They improve digestion and detoxification, preserve eye health and a lot more. Rice is a very good source of carbohydrates. Altogether, this dish is a healthy and tasty one, which is easily prepared in less time.

Basmati rice-1 cup, salt-to taste, oil-3 tsb, water-2.5 cup, cumin seeds-½ tsp broccoli-½ cup, tomato-1 small, cauliflower-½ cup and turmeric powder-½ tsp
1. Wash and cut cauliflower, broccoli and tomatoes. Wash basmati rice and keep aside.
2. In a pressure cooker heat oil and add cumin seeds. Let it splutter.
3. Add chopped cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, turmeric powder, and salt. Sauté for 10 minutes.
4. Add water and basmati rice to it. Pressure cook up to 3 whistles on medium flame.
Serve hot with dal.
