Using paneer, milk, and sugar, you can prepare yummy tasty Chenna Shira. Paneer is rich in protein, milk has the calcium and sugar provides the carbohydrates. This dessert is flavoured with a variety of healthy nuts, which gives the vital vitamin and minerals. Saffron, cardamom and rose water gives the ultimate rich flavour to this sweet.

½ cup paneer, 3 cups fat whole milk, 5 tbsp sugar or as required, 4-5 almonds, 4-5 pistachios, 4-5 cashews, 3-4 strands of saffron, 1 tsp rose water, 3-4 green cardamoms
1. In a vessel, boil milk. Crumble the paneer and keep it ready.
2. Finely chop the dry fruits. Crush the cardamom.
3. When the milk comes to a boil, lower the flame and simmer the milk till it thickens. Keep stirring in between. As it thickens, add the sugar and cook for another 5 minutes.
4. Add the chopped dry fruits, cardamom, saffron strands. Give a nice mix.
5. Add the crumbled paneer. Cook on medium flame for another 2 minutes till the paneer gets cooked. Add rose water and give a final mix.
Hot, nutritious and delicious Chenna Shira is ready to relish. You can serve it warm or chilled. It can be had just like that or with pooris. Enjoy!
