Sometimes you want to cook something filling and nourishing. This chicken stew recipe has all the goodness of protein as well as essential vitamins and mineral from an array of veggies, making it a complete meal.

Ingredients to make Chicken Stew:
1 kg Chicken– cut into small pieces, 1 onion chopped , 1 tomato chopped, 2 tsp Garlic Paste, 2 tsp Ginger Paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp Coriander powder, 1/4 tsp Cumin powder, 2" stick cinnamon, 3-4 green cardamoms, 2 potatoes chopped, 3 carrots chopped, 7-8 French beans chopped, salt to taste, 1 tbsp oil
1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cinnamon and green cardamom.
2. Add onion, ginger and garlic paste, and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add all the masala powders and the tomato. Fry till the oil is separating from the masala.
3. Add all the vegetables and salt and saute for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the chicken pieces and saute till the meat is no longer pink.
5. Add enough water so that the meat and vegetables are fully covered. Pressure cook for about 5-7 minutes at full pressure till chicken is fully cooked.
6. Serve hot with rice or toast.
