You can make a wonderful tasty creamy sweet delicacy, Chikoo ki Kheer using chikoo and full fat milk. This vitamin mineral calcium rich kheer is ideal for children aged 2-6 years and is garnished with dried rose petals and almond pistachio slivers.

    Ingredients to make Chikoo Ki Kheer:

    4 chikoos, 1.5 litre full fat milk, 3-4 dried rose petals, almond and pistachio slivers, sugar(optional)

    Steps to make Chikoo Ki Kheer:

    1. Remove the peel and puree the chikoos in a blender.

    2. Bring the milk to a boil and simmer. Continue till the milk is reduced to half. Keep stirring.

    3. Once the milk cools down, add the chikoo puree.

    4. Mix well. Garnish with dried rose petals and pistachio silvers. Refrigerate.

    Yummy chilled Chikoo ki Kheer is all ready to be relished and enjoyed by your child.
