1 cup dalia, 1 onion chopped, 1 inch ginger chopped, 1 tomato chopped, ½ cup chopped carrots, ½ cup chopped potatoes, ½ cup green peas, 4 cups water, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 tablespoon ghee, salt to taste
1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add cumin, ginger and onion. Saute.
2. Add tomato and saute for 1 minute. Add the veggies and saute for 5 minutes.
3. Rinse the dalia and add to the veggies. Stir for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Add water and salt. Pressure cook for 10-12 whistles or till the dalia is cooked and you get a porridge-like consistency. Serve hot.
