Broken wheat daliya is high in protein but low in calories. It improves digestion and is a good source of energy. It is also a rich source of vitamin B1 and B2​ and very easy to make and tempting to eat. It gives you a feeling of fullness and you do not indulge in over-eating. It is very healthy mode of nutrition and can be easily digested.

    Ingredients to make Dalia Moong Khichdi:

    Broken wheat-1 cup, moong dal-½ cup, ghee-2 tsp, coriander leaves-few and salt-to taste

    Steps to make Dalia Moong Khichdi:

    1. Wash broken wheat and moong dal. Keep aside.

    2. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add broken wheat , moong dal and salt. Stir and fry for 5 minutes.

    3. Add water and pressure cook till 2 whistle on medium flame.

    4. Turn off the flame and wait till pressure is released.

    Garnish with minced coriander leaves and serve hot.
